Rabun Beach Campground

Cradled in the hills of the North Georgia Mountains overlooking beautiful Lake Rabun, Rabun Beach Campground is a developed recreation area offers camping, hiking, all sorts of water activities like swimming, boating and fishing, and an opportunity to absorb the peaceful lake scenery. There are 80 tent and trailer campsites in this family-oriented setting that will easily transform whatever gear you have into an outdoor home away from home.

Overlooking beautiful Lake Rabun and the north Georgia mountains, the Rabun Beach Campground and Recreation area offers camping, hiking, boating, swimming and fishing.

This family-oriented setting will easily transform whatever gear you have into an outdoor home away from home. All tent sites have grills, picnic tables and tent pads. Hot showers and drinking water are available. Some of the tent and trailer sites have electrical and water hookups.
The swim area has two picnic tables, a roped off area for swimmers, and restrooms. Hikers can enjoy the 1.3-mile Rabun Beach Trail, which ends at Angel Falls. Fishing is also availabe for those who like to fish for bass, bream, perch, trout and catfish. A fee is required. We are open mid-May and close mid-November. Gates open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
