Lake Burton Cafe – “Last of the Dives”

Lake Burton Café bills itself as “The Last of the Dives.”  While it may not look like much from the outside, the inside reveals an authentic bar and grill with great food, drink, and atmosphere.

The menu is straight-forward fare:  appetizers, burgers, hot dogs, wings, pizza and seafood. All cooked to order with a variety of toppings, sides and other choices. The bar features a wide selection of draft, canned and bottled beer, wine and a full menu of spirits, shots and specialty cocktails.

Throw in a jukebox and pool tables and you have the classic bar & grill experience in a friendly, casual atmosphere with great service. The reviews tell the story:

“Best wings we’ve had in as long as I can remember. Super crispy and they make their own hot sauce which was very flavorful. Rate the wings 9 out of 10. We also got a HUGE plate of nachos and really yummy cocktails and beer. It’s definitely a small bar atmosphere, but don’t let that fool you from stopping for great food and service.”
