Rabun County Summer

Rabun County Summer
Affectionately referred to as the place “where Spring spends the Summer,” Rabun County is known for its mild climate and extraordinary natural beauty. Located in the blue ridge mountains of the Appalachian Mountain Chain, Rabun County is blessed with thousands of acres of woodland, streams, high ridges, and fertile valleys.   In early summer, native Flaming Azaleas, Mountain Laurel and Rhododendron bloom in succession. This is the time to visit to experience the wide variety of products from our local gardens and farms.
Rabun County sits high in North Georgia, situated comfortably just south of the North Carolina and South Carolina state lines surrounded by the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. When you’re looking to beat the late summer heat, Rabun County has great places to stay and play.
