Activity #1: Golf Sky Valley

A classic site for golf, Sky Valley opened over 40 years ago.  The original design by course architect, Bill Watts capitalized on the natural features in the valley long present before the vision of a golf course.  It is the highest course in Georgia and in the dog days of summer, it is significantly cooler than courses elsewhere in the state.

Fortify Pi is a delicious farm to table specialty pizzeria.  Located on main street of downtown Clayton,  you will love the menu and the atmosphere.  On a warm spring, summer, or fall day the staff will open the front rolling windows to let the fresh air in and let you feel like you are in the action on main street.

Activity #2: Noble Wine Cellar

After lunch head across the street to Noble Wine Cellar for a tasting of Georgia grown and made wines.  Jabe and Barbara will take great care of you and satisfy your tastebuds with some delicious flavors.

Dinner: Lake Rabun Hotel

A farm to table dining experience on Lake Rabun.  the Lake Rabun Hotel is not only a hotel/bed and breakfast but they have a fabulously delicious restaurant.

Activity #3: Drive-in Movie

The Tiger Drive-In is a family oriented Drive-In theatre with a playground, all grass terraces and a full menu Grill featuring first-run motion pictures featuring FM broadcast.  At the drive-in, you can experience what life was like back in the good old days…which was really great.
The Tiger Drive-In is not only used to show the latest movies but has Saturday “Drive-In” Flea Markets, Vegetable Markets, Sunday afternoon antique Car Shows, Art Festivals, and camping on the property, etc.

Day Two
Breakfast: Cupboard Cafe

Enjoy a southern comfort breakfast at this wonderful small town restaurant.  They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  While you are there browse through their gift shop and have a treat of fudge.  Your stomach will thank you for starting your day off with a yummy meal.

Lunch: Universal Joint

The Universal Joint or also known as UJ’s is a local’s favorite. Previously an old gas station, the restaurant and bar have a great atmosphere to eat and relax. During the summer, UJ’s host live entertainment of local musicians. Some of our menu favorites are the pulled pork nachos, spicy egg rolls, and the U Joint burger.

Activity 2: Walk through Downtown Clayton and enjoy the local shops.
Main street is booming with new businesses.  You can find art, clothes, shoes, hardware, wine, outdoor adventure supplies, and delicious food.  There is something for everyone while you stroll through downtown.

Activity 3: Milkshakes at Clayton Pharmacy

Clayton Pharmacy is located on South Main Street.  An old fashioned soda fountain and restaurant.  You can pick up a few souvenirs after your delicious milkshake.

Activity 4: Fly Fishing with Hatch Camp & Art Farm

Hatch Camp and Art Farm is a fabulous place to learn to Fly Fish or set up a guided fish for the more experienced.  Scott Lowe makes Flys right on the property and help you get set with all your needs for a great fishing experience.  Hatch Camp also hosts many events that include music, food, vendors, and camping.  You will certainly have a great experience when you visit Scott out at the Hatch Camp.

Dinner: The Farmhouse at Waterfall
