We would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you our new Chief Executive officer for Mountain Lakes Medical Center, Dr. Joseph Forese. Dr. Forese brings to Rabun County years of experience in several healthcare disciplines including practice, education, and administration. His depth of knowledge of community-based healthcare systems makes him an ideal fit for the hospital and our new hospital vision.
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served our country on active duty for five years including the duration of Desert Storm. It was there he forged his attitude of service which continued into private practice in Smyrna, Georgia, at Life University, and now in Rabun County
When asked about why he wanted to join the Rabun County he responded, “I see tremendous potential for Mountain Lakes Medical Center and my priorities will be to increase our attitude of service and expand our service lines for the community.”
