  •  Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
    • Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance to secure a space on the tour. You can call 706-960-9865, make your reservations and make payment with a credit card.
  • How much food is served?
    • There will be a tasting at MOST OF THE LOCATIONS. Each tasting will be appetizer size portions and most guests consider the tour as their lunch.
  • Can children participate in the tour? What is the ticket price for the kids?
    • It is a long day and children are not recommended.  Their ticket price is the same as that for adults if they participate.
  • Is transportation included in the tour price?
    • Yes, all participants will board the van/bus and be transported to each location. You will have to walk from the parking areas to and around the farms.
  • What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
    • We can usually accommodate for dietary restrictions and those with food allergies. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when booking.
  • Are their bathrooms available along the tour route?
    • Most if not all locations will offer restroom facilities. If the tour guide knows the next stop on the tour does not have facilities he will advise the group before leaving the stop they are at the time.
  • Is the tour wheelchair and stroller accessible?
    •  At most farms you will be going through uneven fields that, while not unaccessible, could be difficult and uncomfortable.
  • Does the tour have anything to offer a local?
    • Yes, most definitely. Locals will become a visitor in their own backyards and will learn more about what their own community has to offer.
  • Is there parking available at the meeting location?
    • Yes, the Food Bank has ample and safe parking in the front of the building.
  • Are cameras allowed?
    • Yes, we encourage you to take photos and post them on your social media outlets to show what a great time you are having while you are in Rabun County, Georgia.
  • Does the tour end at the same location it begins?
    • Yes, we will begin and end at the Food Bank.
  • Are gratuities included in the ticket price?
    • Gratuities are not included in the ticket price. While not required, gratuities are accepted and appreciated by your tour guide. (15% is standard for a job well done).
  • Can I shop during the tour?
    • There will be a small amount of time at each location allowed for shopping. You can return to any location for additional shopping on your own during the hours that they are open
  • Are dogs/pets allowed on the tour?
    • Since we are on a bus/van, entering food establishments, and as a courtesy to other guests on the tour, all pets, with the exception of trained service dogs, are prohibited on the tour.
  • Is smoking allowed on the tour?
    • Smoking is NOT allowed on the tour.
  • Are gift certificates available?
    • Please call for details.
  • Can I book a private group tour?
    • Yes.  We need a 3 week notice to be sure all properties are available for a special tour date.  Please call for details and arrangements.
