JULY WILDCRAFT KITCHEN CAMP at Foxfire Museum & Heritage Center
Treat your kids to an unforgettable summer experience!
Wildcraft Kitchen is a fun and unique five-day camp for ages 7-13 located in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia. Students will learn a variety of heritage skills related to food, cooking, nature, foraging, and herbalism. Activities include heirloom gardening, Appalachian woodstove, and open-hearth cookery, traditional food preservation, wild foods foraging, and herbal medicine making. Guest instructors include local chefs, farmers, herbalists, and mushroom hunters.
Students get to eat all of the delicious foods that they make at camp. There will be plenty of handmade goods to take home too including your very own Appalachian salve!
Lunch and snacks are provided every day. We use only the freshest ingredients and sourced from local farms whenever possible. Please let us know about any food allergies and dietary restrictions. We are able to cater to special diets with advance notice.
