Joy Lewis of Joyous Treasures
Artist & Crafter
Joy was raised in Decatur, Georgia. Her parents, also very talented, had always encouraged Joy to be creative, and most importantly – to dream. Joy began painting when she was about six years old, and at that time she also began to grow plants and make jewelry. She was a very busy girl!
Joy found much inspiration when her family visited their cabin in the Persimmon Creek area. Nature was and is a way of life for Joy, and you can see it in her art and crafts. Among creating new items, Joy loves to take old and unused items, and make them new again.
Joy resides with her husband, Brad, and is fortunate to enjoy time with their sons and their families. Surely, she is passing her inspiration on to them. You must stop by and see her display – Fairy gardens, hand painted purses, jewelry made with her grown flowers and vintage beads, as well as her cheese boards made from vintage wine boxes!
