Filming in Rabun County

Filming in Rabun County
We were thrilled to have another major Hollywood Promotion be filmed here in Rabun County, Georgia.  Clint Eastwood’s new film Trouble With The Curve, shot here last week.    They used a variety of locations for filming; Lake Burton Club, Camp Dixie, Mountain Lakes Medical Center, & The Creative Learning Center.
The movie will star Eastwood as an aging sports scout, along with Amy Adams who plays his daughter, and Justin Timberlake who plays a rival scout.  All three actors were here in Rabun County for the week of filming.   We were able to see a photo of Mr. Eastwood and Timblerlake taking some time off to play a round of golf at the Lake Burton Club.  I can’t think of many better places to spend an afternoon.
Trouble With the Curve filmed in other various locations around Georgia, including Athens, Conyers, Macon, Atlanta, and Dawsonville.  Although their stay in Rabun County was brief we were thrilled to have them here in our community and so happy they took time to enjoy the beauty that is Rabun County, Georgia.
