Fromage opened August of 2007. The restaurant is a passion of the owner, Jenny Wilson, who loves food and coming up with new and creative menu items.
Fromage’s menu items are made fresh daily. The menu changes often as to what is in season and as to what the chef is feeling that week. Jenny Wilson is a voted Best Chef America and you truly believe it after having one of her delicious meals.
Mr. Wilson, Melynda, Bill, Maddie, Marissa, Emma, and Katie (or whoever else shows up) assist in the menu planning, kitchen fun and keeping the customers entertained and happy!!! It is a wonderful family affair with the close knit staff and Jenny’s mother, Sally, and husband, Mr. Wilson, helping out to make this a great lunch spot!
Located on a side street in Downtown Clayton, this charming old house has the perfect feel for this magnificent restaurant! You can dine inside the bright fun dining room or sit outside on the covered porch in the wonderful Rabun County weather.
Fromage & Other Fine Foods uses the freshest and finest products available to create delightful eclectic selections. The menu changes weekly and everything is prepared in house from delicious soups to delectable desserts.
European and domestic specialty cheese can be cut to go and are used in many of the menu items.
You’ll love the bright cheerful atmosphere and the lively wait staff. The wonderful Folk Art artwork is courtesy of Main Street Gallery in Clayton. You may purchase any of the artwork from Fromage. And, please visit them on Main Street in downtown Clayton.
