Chef Jamie Allred
Chef Jamie Allred, selected in 2013 and 2014 for inclusion in Best Chefs America, is recognized by his peers as one of the most influential chefs in the nation. Jamie considers his greatest reward to be working with local farmers to offer a special taste of mountain earth to all who have the opportunity to savor his dishes! Jamie is a chef who gives back to his local community. He works actively with Georgia Organics to help promote Farm To School initiatives throughout the region. Jamie has also been influential in the establishment of the Northeast Georgia Food Bank’s Whole Community Food Network, a regional food hub slated to open Summer 2014 in Rabun County.
Jack has a strong passion for great food and exceptional customer service which comes from over 25 years in the food service industry. He has worked in nearly every position in a restaurant, from dishwasher to general manager. He brings all of his “front-of-house” operations expertise from working at such well-known local restaurants as Glen Ella Springs, Lake Rabun Hotel, Julia’s, The Stockton House, Rumor Hazit and Zeppelins to Fortify Kitchen & Bar. Jack’s favorite part of working in the industry is the opportunity to meet and serve people and he takes great pleasure in creating an atmosphere and dining experience that is not just a meal, but an event that Wows them! He is proud to live and work in Rabun County and gives back to the community as a little league athletics coach. Jack spends his spare time with his wife and two children, enjoying cooking, music and sports together.
