DESCRIPTION:The Rabun County Music Festival presents the Northwinds Symphonic Band.  They were organized in 1984  as a performance outlet for music educators in the north Georgia area.  The roster includes band directors\, music teachers\, college students\, professional musicians and several players who pursue an occupation outside the field of music.  The band has grown to over one hundred members\, performing concerts throughout the year with notable guest conductors and soloists.
