Warrior Dash is coming to Rabun County Georgia!

 

Red Frog Events presents Warrior Dash Georgia 2012! Located in Mountain City, GA, this year’s Warrior Dash is open for registration now. On May 19th, 2012, Warriors will descend on the North Georgia Mountains for a race that is beyond the ordinary. The Warrior Dash features a run through multiple different obstacle. Warrior racers confront fire and water obstacles. They have to climb over some and crawl under others. There’s plenty of mud, and in this case, there is sure to be plenty of Georgia red clay!

Find a Place to Stay for the Warrior Dash! You may want to wake up to a hearty breakfast prepared in a Bed and Breakfast or you may want to move fast and light from a local Hotel or Motel. It can also be totally tranquil as you float through the wilderness. Take a ride on a Georgia Mountain Zip Line and cruise through the canopy. Or take it easy with a round of Golf in the Mountains. There’s plenty to choose from!

Warrior Dash GA 2012 is going to be held at the Blue Ridge Camp. Located in Mountain City, Georgia, the Blue Ridge Camp is a family operated accredited summer camp that is focused on a high level of activity for campers. There are big slides for the kids and a lake for swimming. Young skaters can try their tricks on the skate park and there’s a gym for rainy day basketball and gymnastics. Water sports abound with the lake nearby and kids can try their balance at water skiing and knee boarding.

Blue Ridge Camp owners Joey and Lori Waldman worked closely with Red Frog Events to bring the Warrior Dash back to Rabun County Georgia for 2012. This result was “by no means a foregone conclusion” said Pete Cleaveland of the Rabun County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Much hard work goes into each event including arranging for logistical concerns like offsite parking and security and safety services.
